found myself on a bus
High Tide Tattoo Parlour is the best! I have been going to the owner, Micro, for years. He is a good friend and a awesome artist. With the years I've known him; he has improved a lot, gotten faster without loosing out on quality; his range of artistic skills has flourished; and hes even got a little bit more chattier haha.
His new shop which opened in 2011, also have 2 other wonderful artists in its ranks: Donovan and Brad. Donovan is a very close friend and I am very excited to see him tattooing now. He is such a wonderful artist that it would of been a shame to see his art not on peoples skin(I would of had to get him to design me a tattoo to get on me for him, but now I can get all in one!) Brad I have not yet had the wonder of getting tattooed by him, but his reputation precedes him and I have seen great, realistic ink come from his hand. No doubt when I have the time I will be getting him to do a photo of my cat who died last year.
The shop is nice and clean plays some rockin' jams, has awesome jewlery and t shirts, and also housing Micro's finacee Sonya's Freelance graphic design office. She was the one who created the wonderful adds you see above you. She also sells her artwork out of the shop too!
I definitely recommend anyone who hasn't been in there, or cehcked out their website to do so right meow!

High Tide Tattoo
In the fall of 2011 I did the hair and makeup for myself and another model for the High Tide Tattoo parlour's advertising campaign. It was really fun, I love doing rockabilly style of hair and makeup. Modelling is fun when you get to work with awesome people, the photos were done by Shannon Lepere. I had previously dealt with her for a wedding I was a bridesmaid for and really liked working with her.
