She's Got Fire in Her Eyes

Today I wanted to do something different; having bright red sometimes makes choosing eye shadow tricky because I don't want it to clash with my hair. I usually go for bright greens or nudes with some purples.

Last night I was watching the season finale of Face Off, and really liked RJ's phoenix character. This morning is so bright and sunny, I wanted to do something in yellows. I tend to stay away from lots of yellow, as it has the reflection on my skin when I ware it, which makes me look sick. Also I have an aversion to yellow skin due to my father dying of liver failure which left him with jaundice. But I wanted to try a fire fade on my eyes either way so this is what I got:

I used my costal sense pallet and stuck with the brightest yellow, a faded orange, a darker orange,  a light red and the deepest red. I used my black trucco eyeliner and my black supreme merle norman mascara. The fade into the orange was the hardest part I found trying not to make it too orange and dark in the middle before bringing the red in.

I think after I popped in my black extensions into my hair it goes a lot better then just with the red hair.  I had a hard time deciding what to do with my lips, I didn't know if I wanted to go bold with red, or let my eyes pop more with a nude lip. I went with bold(I am going out to lunch with my friend who is a tattoo artist and we get people looking at us awkwardly, so I might as well just go bold!) So I used wild berry lip pencil plus by Merle Norman.

-Till Tomorrow, xoxoxo Mamma S.
