The Lady in Grey

So last night I was hired by Portia(the reigning Queen of the North) to do her makeup for a homecoming show for a local favorite : Fantasia le Premiere. I for once actually decided to go to the show after doing the makeup(I am usually too tired and sore to go or have other plans). I had a lot of fun  and got great compliments on Portia's makeup and my own. One being that her lips looked awesome like Sharon Needles' (this years winner of Ru Paul's Drag Race). Which was a huge compliment and made both Portia and I very happy.
not the greatest but the classiest haha

So for Portia's makeup I first started using my flesh toned liquid latex on his eyebrows.  It worked okay but because it is liquid latex the ends peeled a bit. I am still honing on this technique of eyebrow concealment, because Portia's brows are beautiful and dark but makes for a challenge.
I then contoured her face with a almost white foundation on her forehead, top of her nose, under her eyes, on her cupid's bow(the indent above your lips) and the middle of her chin under the lip. The rest I used a darker foundation so all focus would go to the middle of her face.
I drew on her eyebrows with a dark and light brown about a centimeter over her natural ones, so I could finish covering up the rest of her brows with shadow.
For her eyes: I used 1 bold sparkle blue and faded in into a dark sparkle blue and then into a sparkle black. I went around between her brows and under her eyes with a iridescent cream colour. I used my Sephora mascara on her, and used a black liquid eyeliner to line the top of her eyes and fan out mini lashes at the corners. Her lips I outlined a bit higher then her natural lip line with a brown and a pink to match the gloss she had.

Now for what I did. I have had this sample picture on my pintrest  for a long time with opposite brows/eyes in pink and purple. Normally I don't wear these colours in this kind of an abundance but a Drag Show is the perfect place to wear them for sure!
I used my costal sense palette and my makeup forever faux lashes again. I used a angled brush to apply the brightest pink/purple to my brows and then used the same colours in the contouring and ends of my lids(on the opposite eye). I used a light cream/light neutral colour between my brows and in the corners of my eyes. Then blended in the lighter pink/purple in the middle of my lid. I also used the same lighter side colour under my eye.
I then used a black to add the smoke to the outsides of my eyes.
I used the liquid liner to use on the water line to the ends and pointed them.
I also used a pink blush and a varied of neutrals and darker pinks for my lipstick.

I hope everyone had fun at the show, I know I did.. with glowsticks!
