Classic with a Hint of the Stars

This was the photo for my inspiration for last nights makeup. I found it on pintrest and really liked the way the cream sparkles looked. I usually go for a similar look that is neutral with some violet smokey ends.

So I got to jump into my new pallet from E.L.F! It has a lot more sparkle and shimmered colours then my Costal Sense pallet. The pallet still didn't have as sparkly of a cream or white, but there was one that was very shimmery. I found that the E.L.F shadows are very loose, so it is something to be aware of in the future(especially when using dark colours). This messiness has a upside though: it makes the colours easier to blend together.
For the lips, I always make my lips bigger, I find my top lip is a little too down turned, and the side that my Monroe piercing  pushes my skin down into my lip as well. So This is how I line them:
I used Merle Norman "mocha" lip liner side from their  Lip Pencil Plus and Merle Norman's "cinamon sugar" creamy lip colour.

And this was my final look, all ready to go to see a rockabilly band from B.C
