I have had Manic Panic "Vampire Red' in my hair for 2 years now, and I still love it.Any makeup artist will tell you that when you have red hair greens, neutrals and browns are your friends. I stay away from blues so I don't remind myself of looking like any red/white/blue coloured flag. But can I get away with wearing matching red eyeshadow?
The picture that started my brain off in this direction. So let's try something close to it!
Well I'm going to try and try not to look like a clown or like I'm
walking a runway. Not that I'm bashing high fashion makeup: but it's not
something you would go to a rockabilly show wearing.
2. I then used the middle red as my base colour and used it everywhere. It was a pretty lightly coloured red, reminded me more of something I'd use to make someone look sick.
3. I went around the outer edge and contoured with the darkest(bottom) red.
4. I lastly used the top dark fuchsia colour over everything too, I didn't light how base red it was and I'm more partial to the dark fuchsia red instead.
I think as long as I stayed with my MN "mocha" lip pencil plus and only adding the black eyeliner and mascara it looks nice. I don't find that it clashes with my hair and am very happy I tried this makeup artistry no-no.
